HISTORY
1951 - Guoguang Electric Company established at Guangzhou.
1956 - First Portable Horn manufactured.
1966 - First Mini Microphone Speaker exported to Cuba (first for manufacturer in Guangdong region).
1973 - Cone Speaker exported to Hong Kong.
1974 - Tweeter Speaker exported to Southeast Asia.
1986 - CKG-161 Automatic Speaker Assembly Production Line imported from Japan and installed.
1981-1989 - Speaker “Pearl River” became the famous brand in China.
1991 - Named “Top Speaker Exporter” for OEM projects in the China Electric Voice Association.
1993 - Joint venture with Sino-Foreign equity established, named “Guoguang Electric Company Limited (GGEC)”.
1994 - Acquired the ISO-9001 Certificate (first certified enterprise in the China Electric Voice Association).
1996 - GGEC America incorporated as a California Company
2000 - Acquired the QS-9000 Certificate.
2003 - Acquired the ISO-14001 Certificate.
2004 - First phase (500 acres) of Guoguang Industrial Park established and operated.
2005 - Acquired the TS-16949 Certificate, 30 millions stocks released in the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
2007 - Titled the “Technology Centre” of Guangdong Province.
2008 - GGEC acquires the top selling domestic audio Brands, AV Light, and MG Audio
2008 -GGEC acquires one of the most established Domestic Pro Audio companies - Guangzhou Aivin corporation
2009 -GGEC opens its satellite factory in Guangxi providence
2010 -Aivin, MG, and AV light move to the GGEC Campus in Huadu
2011 -GGEC Acquires Acorn Audio - One of the largest micro speaker designers and manufacturers in China. Engineering stays in Beijing, manufacturing moves to the GGEC Campus in Huadu
